Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Lillian Bea Green Angelle, 92, who passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Jodie Guidry and Kameron Knott. Gift Bearers will be Blair Artigue and Katrina Nicky Angelle.
Bea loved entertaining and was a wonderful cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends to enjoy during holidays or occasional family gatherings. She loved visiting with her family and friends, as well as writing letters to them. Bea never met a stranger and will be sadly missed by her family and the many friends she has met throughout the years.
Survivors include two step sons, Earl Angelle of Cecilia, and Wesley Gautreaux and wife, Julie, of California; two sisters, Edith Sis Turner and Loula Clay, both of Breaux Bridge; her sister-in-law, Beverly Green; her brother-in-law, Paput Castille; ten grandchildren, Myra Knott and husband, Kenneth, Andrea Artigue and husband, Gervis, Todd Angelle, Katrina Angelle, Dustin Angelle, Samatha Angelle, Penny Poche and husband, Brent, Jude Guidry and wife, Angie, Jody Guidry and wife, Darlene, and Johnny Guidry and wife, Liz; 24 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Lucille Broussard Green; husband, Sidney Angelle; first husband, Murphy Bouse Guidry; second husband, Sterling Gautreaux; an infant daughter, Alice Guidry; a step daughter, Margaret Guidry; two step granddaughters, Gwen Latiolais and Bonnie Bourque; three brothers, John, James, and Alton Brod Green; two sisters, Annie Hopkins and Enola Toot Castille; and three brothers-in-law, Jesner Hopkins, James Turner, and Marshall Clay.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until time 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Earl Angelle, Todd Angelle, Dustin Angelle, Jude Guidry, Jody Guidry, and Johnny Guidry.
