Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 9a.m., on Friday, July 18, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Lillian Hantz Hoffpauir, 91, who passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery, 568 Belle Moye Rd, Sulphur, LA.
Rev. Fr. Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the services.
Lillian Hoffpauir was an artist in every aspect of the word. She worked in every medium available to her, such as porcelain, ceramics, water colors, and oils. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing and needlework. Gardening was one her passions, she had two green thumbs and could bring life to any unplanted corner of the yard.
Lillian made beautiful porcelain dolls and lamps. Her eye for color allowed her to create many ceramic pieces as well as astounding paintings done in water colors and oil. She filled the homes of those she knew with many gorgeous works of art.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a local Rosary Group.
She is survived by four daughters, Billie and her husband Donnie Endsley of Kingwood, TX and their children: Curt Endsley and his wife Sherrie of Clearlake, TX, Pam Clark of Alexandria, LA, Kim Peters of Kingwood, TX, and Mark Endsley of Kingwood, TX; Mary Ann and her husband John Beazley of Breaux Bridge, LA and their children: Angela Chauffe and her husband, Gene of Breaux Bridge, LA and Greg Beazley and his wife Kim of Breaux Bridge, LA; Judy Schafer of Lavergne, TN and her children: Donna Schafer of Lavergne, TN and Shane Schafer and his wife, JoAnn of Schwenksville, PA, and Cindy and her husband, Danny Logan of Midland, TX and their children: Anthony and Maritca Logan of Midland, TX, and Brenna Logan of Midland, TX; and 13 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Curtis Hoffpauir; her parents, Alexander and Theresa Hantz; two brothers, Albert and Johnny Hantz; and three sisters, Gertrude Hebert, Lilly Mae Dessell, and Willie Mae Ourso.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Masses may be given in her honor at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 219 E. Bridge St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, or family's local church.
