Cade - Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Marks Baptist Church in Cade, for Lillie Mae Thibodeaux Bill, 80, who passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 am until 10:45 am on Saturday, at St. Marks Baptist Church in Cade. Interment will follow at St. Marks Cemetery. Pastor John Stevens will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Marks Baptist Cemetery in Cade. Lillie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was also a devoted and active church member of St. Marks Baptist Church until her illness. She had a personal relationship with the Lord and served him with all her heart and soul. Her favorite song was 'The Lords Prayer'. She enjoyed cooking and was meticulous about her yard. While at St. Mark she served as President of the Deaconess, Vice President of Mission, Sunday School Coordinator, Supervised Communion Preparation, Mass Choir Member, Assistant to the Kitchen Committee and served as a Temple Guardian. She is survived by three sons, Kelly Jacobs, Alton (Karen) Bill of Alameda, CA, and Christopher (Sherlisce) Bill of Manteca, CA; her daughter, Susan Jacobs of Hayward, CA; her sister, Linda (Eddie) Johnny of Stockton, CA; and five grandchildren, Jonathan Wilson, Isaiah Bill, Aaron Bill, Naomi Bill, and Isaac Bill. She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Melvina Leon Thibodeaux; her husband, Herbert Bill; three brothers, Dalton, Mason and Ernest Thibodeaux; and two sisters, Geneva Thibodeaux and Hilda Hardy. Pallbearers will be Edward Hardy, Harold Hardy, Alton Ambrose, Calvin Ambrose, Michael Eaglen, and Dr. Chester Cormier II. Pellerin Funeral Home (337.332.2111) is in charge of arrangements.
