Cecilia Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Lilly Marie Boyd, 54, who passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Lilly was an Employee of Walmart for 3 years. She enjoyed going to the Casino, playing cards, and spending time with family. She is survived by her companion, Joseph Emery Roberts of Henderson, LA; her brothers, Sammie Hoard and his wife, Gloria of Little Rock, AK and Louis Boyd, Sr. and his wife, Jeanette T. of Cecilia, LA; her sisters, Rosie Mae Roberts of Houston, TX, Alberta B. Singleton of Henderson, LA, Kathlene and her husband, Leo Paul Calais, Sr. of Little Rock, AK, and Pauline Kennedy of Henderson, LA. She is preceded in death by her father, Willie James Boyd; her mother, Rose Lee Hoard Boyd; and her brothers, Jackson Thomas and George Boyd. Pallbearers will be Jacoby Turner, Melvin Roberts, Cody Calais, Marvin Roberts, Marcus Kennedy, and Marvin Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Boyd, Jr., Lance Turner, and Curtis Boyd.
