Linda Broussard Belaire

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Linda Marie Broussard Belaire, 64, who passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 am until 12:45 pm on Thursday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am. Rev. Rusty Richard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking for her family and cherished moments spent with family and friends. As a pastime, Linda enjoyed painting images of scenic wildlife. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Belaire of St. Martinville; her daughter, Yvonne Delahoussaye and husband, Robert Bob of Broussard; two sisters, Mary Broussard Olander and husband, Eddie, of Lydia, and Connie Broussard Dorsey and husband, Joe, of Fort Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Clay Belaire, Skylar Delahoussaye, and Brodi Delahoussaye; and four great grandchildren, Aubrey and Tucker Delahoussaye and Abigail and Hudson Belaire. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Gladys Veronie Broussard; her son, Lenny Belaire; and her in-laws, Anley and Claudia Belaire. Pallbearers will be Robert Bob Delahoussaye, Clay Belaire, Skylar Delahoussaye, Brodi Delahoussaye, Frank Stelly, and Derrick Robin. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations to assist in defraying funeral expenses.
