Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Friday, August 2, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Linda "Granny" Credeur, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday, and continue at 7:00 am until 1:30 pm on Friday. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening. Rev. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kami Roberts and Brad Thomassee. Gift Bearers will be Kimberly Roberts, Michelle Bernard, Shannon Spillman, Brooke Savoie, and April Savoie. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. 'Granny' enjoyed playing Bingo and going on trips to the casinos. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by two sons, Randy Roberts and Hobbie Roberts; four daughters, Roxanne (Darwin) Shaw, Tina (Curtis, Sr.) Savoie, Bridget Bernard, and Samantha Spillman; two sisters, Marie Begnaud and Evelyn Babineaux; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Augustine Kilchrist Credeur; the father of her children, Patrick 'Beaux Yeau' Roberts; her companion, Lloyd Brasseaux, Sr.; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; and her son-in-law, Glynn Spillman, Jr. Pallbearers will be Randy Roberts, Hobbie Roberts, Darwin Shaw, Curtis Savoie, Sr., Curtis Savoie, Jr., and Brock Savoie. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gonzales and PFC Kyle Roberts. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
