Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge, for Linda Marie Richard John, 51, who died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at MeadowBrook Healthcare in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. There was no greater joy for her than taking care of her loving husband of 38 years. ?She loved spending time with her family and giving an extra hand to anyone in need. ?Her daughters and grandchildren were the love of her life. ?She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Bobby John, of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Casey John, of Breaux Bridge and Aisha John, of Parks; her mother, Shirley Richard; her mother-in-law, Marjorie John, both of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, William Richard, of Lafayette, Weston Richard, of St. Martinville, Michael Richard, and Milton Papillion, both of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Cindy Potier, of Parks and Lisa Richard, of Breaux Bridge; and two grandchildren, Deandre John and Ah' Nae Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elmarie Cortoria John; and her father, James Richard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007, and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be William Richard, Weston Richard, Michael Richard, Michael John, Corey Potier, and Cornell Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Deandre John, Jacoty Potier, Trevor Richard, Christopher Richard, Michael John, Jr., and Montrell Jackson. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
