Linda Babineaux Villermin

New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Linda Villermin, 71, who passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette. A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Linda Babineaux Villermin was born on May 19, 1947 to Junius and Lucille Espinoza Babineaux. She worked as a substitute teacher for the Iberia Parish School Board. She was a faithful Catholic and loved her dog, Max and her cat, Mini. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and her great grandson. She also enjoyed her plants, flowers, gardening, playing cards, puzzles, and going to the casino. Linda is survived by a daughter, Dawn Rambo and husband Clint of New Iberia; sons, Beanie Villermin and wife Chantell of New Iberia, and Jacob Villermin of New Iberia; brothers, Richard Babineaux and wife Anita, and Jimmy Babineaux and wife Peggy, all of Coteau; grandchildren, Jenna Funk, Tiffany Gilbert, Haili Rambo, Alyssa Villermin, Kylyan Villermin and spouse Jasmine, Madyson Villermin, and Jaxson Villermin; and a great grandchild, Zylyan Villermin. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnathan Villermin; father, Junius Babineaux; mother, Lucille Babineaux; and an infant brother, Johnny Babineaux.
