Linton Joseph Fontenette

St. Martinville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 18, 2022, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Linton Joseph Fontenette, 74, who passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022.

A visitation will take place at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 AM on Friday.

Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carol Olivier Fontenette; son Mark Anthony Fontenette; daughter Stacie (Rodigues) Mitchell; sisters Irene Fontenette and Annie Olivier; step-sons Quinton Landry and Kendall Landry; grandchildren Tierra Mitchell, Tyanna Mitchell, Tyler Fontenette and Amiyah Fontenette; great-grandchildren Braxtyn Lindsey and Layla Fontenette.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Olivier and Annie Caillier Fontenette; sisters, Joyce Boutte and Mary Ann Boutte; brothers, Raymond Fontenette, Nolan Fontenette, Sr. and Lee Alton Fontenette

Pallbearers will be Mark Anthony Fontenette, Stacie Mitchell, Rodrigues Mitchell, Brandon Lindsey, Lawjahn Johnson and Charlie Wiltz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Ledet and Billy Ray Hill.
