St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, August 23, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Linton J. Hulin, Sr., 78, who passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 7 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday by the Rosary Group. Fr. Allen Breaux will conduct the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Brook Theriot, Amber Belaire, and Brock Hulin. Mr. Hulin was a painter in the construction industry for many years. He was a member of the Lafayette Builders Association, the ARC of St. Martin, and the St. Martinville Jaycees. As a pastime he enjoyed traveling, camping, gaming, and playing his guitar. Survivors include his sons, Linton J. "Lynn" Hulin, Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Parks, Benaber "Benny" Hulin and his wife, Nanette, of St. Martinville, Troy Hulin and his wife, Nicole, of California, and Corey Hulin and his wife, Camay, of Lafayette; his daughters, Gwendolyn Latiolais and her husband, Mark, of St. Martinville, Elizabeth Romero and her husband, Michael, of New Iberia, Nanette Theriot and her husband, Jody, of Catahoula and Tammy Belaire and her husband, Ames, of St. Martinville; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and four sisters, Anna Belle Rivet of St. Martinville, Delores Hulin of Broussard, Anna Mae Gauthier of Lafayette, and Maureen Dugas of Parks. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Arline Broussard Hulin; his parents, Sosthene and Edna Romero Hulin; a son, Clinton Hulin; his brother, Carvis Hulin; and his sister, Edora Delahoussaye.
