Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Linzi Renee Romero, 21 who died Saturday, January 16, 2010 in New Iberia. ; Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. ; Rev. Barry Crochet will be the Celebrant. ; Born on September 1, 1988 in New Iberia, Linzi loved being a mom and taking care of her babies. She will be deeply missed. ; Survivors include her mother, Debbie Monte and husband Keith of New Iberia; father, Dickie Romero of New Iberia; son, Laythan Boutte of New Iberia; daughter, Jaselin Boutte of New Iberia; sister, Brooke DeRouen of New Iberia; brother, Dustin Romero and wife Allison of New Iberia; grandparents, Oceana Romero, Eugene and Theresa Mouton, and Mabel and Phillip Monte all of New Iberia; boyfriend, Jason Boutte; step sister, Genee Monte of New Iberia; step brothers, Brandon Monte who is stationed at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida, Brennan Monte of New Iberia; nieces, Eugenee DeRouen, Graci DeRouen, Abby Romero, and Sabyn DeRouen all of New Iberia; nephew, Ayden Romero of New Iberia. ; She was preceded in death by her grandfather, A.D. Romero. ; Pallbearers will be Drew DeRouen, Corey Romero, Ryan Landry, Brandon Monte, Darrell Mouton, and Chip Mouton. ; Honorary pallbearers include Dustin Romero, Jason Boutte, and ;Burney Mouton. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 10:30 AM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday.
