Lisa Vincent Istre

New Iberia - Lisa Ann Vincent Istre, 56, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at her home in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. A native and resident of New Iberia, Lisa Ann Vincent Istre was born on February 1, 1964 to the late Richard Lee Vincent, Sr. and Joyce Langlinais Vincent. An avid Saints fan, she loved her dogs like they were her children. She loved her godchildren like they were her own, and what she cherished most was time spent with family. Lisa also loved coloring and drinking her Diet Coke. She will be deeply missed. Ms. Istre is survived by two brothers, Richard Vincent, Jr. and Hector James Vincent; two sisters, Michelle (Troy) Andras, and Danielle (fiance, Joe Thompson) Delcambre; special aunt, Brenda Langlinais; four godchildren, Crystal Langlinais, William Andras, Ridge Melancon, and Nola Vincent; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepsister, Sandra Tassin; a stepbrother, Arthur Tassin; and stepmother, Shirley Walker Vincent. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to her godchild, Ridge Melancon, for taking such good care of Lisa over the yeas.
