VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Lita Hebert Kidder, 77, who passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be Brooke Schexnaider and Victoria Huval. In her free time Lita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a former member of the Ladies Altar Society and the National Association of Uniformed Services (N.A.U.S.). Survivors include her son, Mark F. Kidder and his wife, Jackie of Conroe/The Woodlands, TX; her daughter, Kathleen K. Schexnaider, of Cecilia; two grandchildren, Chuck R. Huval and his wife, Christina, and Brooke C. Schexnaider; and two great grandchildren, Victoria E. Huval and Philip M. Huval. She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. J.O. Kidder; and her parents, Marcena and Lita Taylor Hebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 6 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, with a recitation of the Rosary at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Mike Carter, Tommy Lasseigne, Jackie Domengeaux, Royce Darbonne, Benji Darbonne, and Johnny Kidder. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Huval and Harold Melancon Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
