Lloyd E. Bourque

New Iberia - Lloyd Edward Bourque, 90, passed away at 10:50 PM, Monday, December 3, 2007 at his residence. Born on June 2, 1917 in Milton, Mr. Bourque is retired from the Vermilion Parish School Board with several years of service. Survivors include his wife, Velda C. Bourque of New Iberia; sons, Allen Bourque and wife Sue of Abbeville, Huey Bourque and wife Beverly of Tennessee; daughters, Carrie B. Schexnider of Abbeville, Annette Frederick of Erath; step daughters, Sandra Bayard of Lydia, Shelia Olivier of Catahoula, Linda Collins of New Iberia, Brenda Burmaster of New Iberia, Susan Gros of New Iberia; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthe and Elizabeth Mouton Bourque; son, Patrick Bourque; brother, Willis; sisters, Ella, Jean, Felicia, and Helga; granddaughter, Angie Bourque. Mr. Bourque's family would like to express sincere appreciation to Journey Hospice, especially Tiffany, Kim, Elaine, and Jessica, for their extraordinary care and compassion.
