Born on April 27, 1955 in New Iberia , 'Butchie' worked for as an office manager for attorney Frank Barber. He enjoyed fishing and reading. Survivors include his wife, Verna Hypolite Doucet of New Iberia; mother, Olivia Fusilier Doucet of New Iberia; sons, Lloyd 'Shortstop' Doucet, III of New Iberia, Allen Wayne Doucet and wife Francine of Ontario, Canada; brothers, Bryan Doucet of New Iberia, Michael Doucet and wife Phyllis of New Iberia, Danny Doucet of New Iberia; sisters, Loyce Doucet of New Iberia, Joy Doucet of Florida; mother-in-law, Vera Hypolite of New Iberia; sisters-in-law, Lois Hoyte and husband Mike of Houston, Texas, Judy Charles and husband P.C. of New Iberia, Janice Hypolite and Jasper Savoy of New Iberia, Yvonne Johnson and husband Ronald of Dyersburg, TN, Jamae Simon and Karol Jones of New Iberia; brothers-in-law, Paul Hypolite of New Iberia, Kim Hypolite of New Iberia; several nieces and nephews.
