Lloyd Joseph Duplechein

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Lloyd Joseph Duplechein, 74, who died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mr. Duplechein retired from Insulators Local 53 in New Orleans after 18 years of service. Survivors include his brother, Warren Duplechein and his wife, Madeline of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mable Latiolais Duplechein; his wife, Mildred Jean Lalonde Duplechein; and his sister, Vesta Mouton. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
