Leonville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Monday, March 18, 2013, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, for Lloyd John 'T-Lloyd' Knott, 65, who passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 10:15 am. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Deacon Dwayne Boudreaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Rachel Fontenot and Betty Vining. Gift Bearers will be Betty Vining and Gerri Knott. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville. 'T-Lloyd' was involved with Leonville Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed and welcomed the many opportunities he was asked to cook for many organizations, fund raisers, weddings, Fire and Sheriffs Departments. 'T-Lloyd' was an avid outdoorsman, who in his free time enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with family and friends, gardening, and raising animals. His dedication and contributions to his community will long be remembered and his presence will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen D. Knott of Leonville; two daughters, Germaine Knott of Port Barre, and Jennifer K. (John Eric) Stelly of Henderson; one brother, James "Jim" Knott of Abbeville; and five sisters, Bernice (Wilson) Tate of Sunset, Marie Knott, Delores (Marcel) Olivier, all of Arnaudville, Betty (John) Vining of Abbeville, and Gerri Knott of Breaux Bridge. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clebert and Helena Guidry Knott; and two sisters, Mildred Richard and Eula Moran. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
