Lloyd Joseph Thibodeaux Sr.

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2007, at St. Rita Catholic Church, in Catahoula for Lloyd Joseph Thibodeaux, Sr., 73, who died on Friday, June 15, 2007, at his residence in Catahoula. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Donald Pelous, Pastor of St. Rita Catholic Church, will conduct the services. Mr. Thibodeaux served in the National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catahoula Volunteer Fire Dept. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Latiolais Thibodeaux, of Catahoula; his sons, Abby and his wife, Veronica Theriot Thibodeaux, of Parks, and Lloyd ""Pee Wee"" ?Thibodeaux, Jr., of Catahoula; his daughter, Eunice Thibodeaux Badeaux and her husband, Richard, of Breaux Bridge; his daughter in law, Eva Thibodeaux; his brothers, Marshall and Wilton Thibodeaux, both of Parks; his sisters, Emily Guidry, Loula Mae Lasseigne, and Hazel Thibodeaux, all of Parks; his three grandchildren, Jamie Dugas, Angelique Thibodeaux, and Kamie Thibodeaux; and his two great grandchildren, Addison Dugas and Rylie Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexis and Eunice Barras Thibodeaux; and his sons, Adley and Dirk Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula, from 9 a.m., on Sunday, June 17, 2007, and continue until time of service on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Marshall Thibodeaux, Wilton Thibodeaux, Jacob Boudreaux, Aldus Dugas, III, Carol Blanchard, and Lawrence Lasseigne. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Badeaux, Tony Lasseigne, and Marshall Blanchard. Pellerin Funeral Home, 337-332-2111, is in charge of arrangements.
