Lydia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia for Lois Langla Hebert, 82 who died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in New Iberia. ; Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. ; Rev. Gary Schexnayder will be the Celebrant. ; Born on December 11, 1927, Mrs. Hebert was a native of New Iberia, and a longtime resident of Patoutville. She was married to Nelson J. Son Hebert of Patoutville for over 50 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her family. Mrs. Hebert will be deeply missed. ; Survivors include her sons, Bryan Hebert of Patoutville, Gary Hebert and wife Renee of Patoutville, Kirby Hebert of Baton Rouge; daughter, Myrna Miller and husband Bob of Danville, Kentucky; sister, Inez Langla of New Iberia; grandchildren, Kelly Hebert, Andrea Ainsworth and husband James, Marco Hebert; great grandchildren, Mia Louviere and Tyler Louviere. ; She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson J. Son Hebert; parents, Peter and Rita Babb Langla; and a brother Perry Langla. ; Pallbearers will be Bryan Hebert, Gary Hebert, Kirby Hebert, Myrna Miller, Bob Miller, and James Ainsworth. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Tuesday.
