Lois Prince Long

Lois Prince Long, 74, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 in New Iberia. A native of New Iberia, Mrs. Long was born on November 24, 1940 to Louis and Edmae Schexnayder Prince. She and her late husband, Sidney, were the owners of Long's Gun and Pawn Shop in New Iberia. Her hobbies included baking and going to the casino. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Long of New Iberia; grandson, Jordan "Fuzzy" LaSalle of New Iberia; and a great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Sidney LaSalle of Pineville. In adddition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney S Long, Jr. As per her request, no services will be held.
