Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Lola Ann Davis Duplantis, 68, who passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 12:45 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Alice, Texas. Mrs. Lola loved going to the casino. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Luke Duplantis, Jr. of Breaux Bridge, LA; her son, Mark (Connie) Duplantis of Alice, TX; her daughter, Laurie (Tom) Halsey of Corpus Christi, TX; her brothers, John (Pam) Davis of Houma, LA, and Tommy (Cathy) Davis of Houma, LA; her sister, Elaine Davis (David) Derouch of Houma, LA; her brothers-in-law, Charles Duplantis, Jimmy (Pam) Duplantis, and Gilbert (Shirley) Duplantis all of Houma, LA; her sisters-in-law, Caroline Brenett, Janet (Willey) Pellegran, and Janice Duplantis all of Houma, LA; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Priscilla) Guerra, Elizabeth Guerra, Mark (Amara) Duplantis, Jr., Aaron Duplantis, Christi (Josh) Baldwin, and Katy (Hunter) Kennedy; 3 great-grandchildren; and her three cats. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emile Joseph and Mary Ann Brunet Davis; her brothers, Jerry Davis and Lloyd Davis; her mother-in-law, Rita Mae Duplantis; and her father-in-law, Luke Duplantis, Sr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge , 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, Louisiana 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
