Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Lolly Brasseaux, Jr., 65, who passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home on Saturday, November 27th from 7:30 am until 1:00 pm.

A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Saturday.

Fr. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Claire and Morgan Brasseaux and the Gift Bearers will be his grandchildren.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Lolly was an instructor at Red Lerille's Health Club for many years and was a respected coach for boot camp and cycling. He was employed by Fenstermaker for over 45 years – it was a job that he had a true passion for. As a pastime, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, exercising, and going camping at his lake house in Toledo Bend. Lolly will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his two sons, Chad Brasseaux (Kristie) and Blaine Brasseaux (Toni); two granddaughters, Claire Brasseaux, Morgan Brasseaux; grandson, Ethan Brasseaux; brothers, Scott Brasseaux and Craig Brasseaux (Jeanie); sister, Tina Brasseaux (Lane Kidder); and his best friend, Destin, who was his Labradoodle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lolly Joseph and Yvonne Guidry Brasseaux and his sister-in-law, Peggy Brasseaux.

Pallbearers will be Scott Brasseaux, Craig Brasseaux, Ethan Brasseaux, Lane Kidder, Ben Brasseaux, and John Fenstermaker.

Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Fenstermaker.
