Lonnie Burton Tomsa

Arnaudville - A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 am, on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Cemetery in Arnaudville, for Lonnie Burton Tomsa, 85, who passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016, at his son's home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Lonnie was a former member of the VFW. He loved to fish and go to the horse track. He is survived by his son, Raymon Tomsa and wife Gretchen; daughters, Pat Gremillion and husband Frank, and Dee Fogleman and husband Ron; step son, Sid Taylor and wife Natalie; former wife, Lilly Tomsa; grandchildren, Krystal Buras, Haley Sanford and husband Steven, Holly David and husband Jared, Kara Tomsa, Kelli Tomsa, and Bart Gremillion and wife Kirsten; and great-grandchildren, Troy, Tyler, Dylan, Aubrey, and Blake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Tomsa; his parents, George and Nettie Tomsa; one brother; and four sisters. Pallbearers will be Ray Tomsa, Ron Fogleman, Frank Gremillion, Bart Gremillion, Krystal Buras, and Kelli Tomsa. Honorary pallbearers will be Kara Tomsa, Dylan Cantu, and Tyler Herrera.
