Loraine Margaret Guigneaux

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Loraine Margaret Guigneaux, 99, who died Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Consolata Nursing Home in New Iberia. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery in New Iberia. Survivors include her two sons, Johnny Guigneaux of California and Jimmy Guigneaux of St. Martinville; one daughter, Geneva Elliott of Dallas, TX; her brother, Khrine Decuir of St. Martinville; her sister, Catherine Carson of New Orleans; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Guigneaux; her son, Francis Guigneaux; and her parents, Raphael and Regina Delahoussaye Decuir. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7 AM on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9 AM Saturday. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Guigneaux, Lionel Abatte, Lionel Abatte, Jr., Mark Livesey, Michael Eaglin and Urs Seiler. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
