Lorena Peltier

New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 12, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel, in New Iberia for Lorena G. Peltier, 83, who died Friday, March 9, 2007 at her residence. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, in New Iberia. Fr. Charles Langlois, pastor of St. Peter Church will officiate. Survivors include her sons, Morris Peltier, Jr. and wife Priscilla of New Iberia, Philip Peltier of St. Martinville, Kenneth Peltier of New Iberia; daughters, Nancy Mouton and Melinda Baldridge both of New Iberia; brothers, Joe Guidry of Carencro, Calvin Guidry of Franklin, Dudley Guidry of New Iberia, Roy Guidry of Missouri; sisters, Hazel Breaux and Mildred Blanchard both of Lafayette, Elba Guidry of Breaux Bridge, Dorothy Castille of Lafayette, Betty Lafqren of Henderson; grandchildren, Todd Peltier, Chris Peltier, Joey Mouton, Jason Mouton, Dena LeBouef, Sean Peltier, Chett Peltier, Cassie Duplantis, MaRae Peltier; 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren expected in May and September. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris J. "Dolphe" Peltier, Sr.; parents, Abel and Ozelia Lormand Guidry; sisters, Ruth Johnson, Bernice Tauzin, and Rena Broussard. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 1:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
