Lorraine Hebert Noel

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Lorraine Ann Hebert Noel, 51, who passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at her home in Loreauville after a short battle with cancer. Interment will be at a later date. Rev. William Blanda will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Tuesday. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM. A resident of Loreauville, Lorraine was born on August 24, 1963 to George Hebert, Jr. and Mary Jane Gaspard Hebert. She was active in Special Olympics, Saturday morning bowling, and the Family Food Drive. Lorraine had a big heart would help anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time in her yard. Her granddaughters were her world.. Survivors include her children, Geri Lynn Bonin Aucoin and husband J.R. of Coteau, Dustin Bonin of New Iberia; fiance', Webb Chevalon of Loreauville; brothers, Raymond Gaspard of New Iberia, Dallas Hebert and wife Fiance' Adrie'Ann of New Iberia, Brian Hebert and wife Pam of Youngsville; Step Brother, David Hebert of New Iberia; sisters, Lydia G. Wycoff and husband Bill of New Iberia, Genevieve H. Boudoin and husband David of Saint Martinville, Dolores G. Stoltz of New Iberia, Liz H. Delcambre and husband Jody of Loreauville; Step sisters, Katherine Viator of Coteau, Odette Hebert of Coteau; granddaughters, Sarah Leiser, and Gabrielle Aucoin; step father, Odell "Shorty" Willis of New Iberia; several nieces and nephews; and her "Fur Babies", pet dogs Cali and Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Maurice Noel; sisters, Jennifer H. Bonin, and Elveria "Eve" H. Aucoin; step brothers, Herman Hebert, and George Hebert, III. Pallbearers will be Jody Delcambre, Dwayne Delcambre, Dallas Hebert, Chris Gaspard, Brandon Gaspard, Kasey Delcambre, and Dustin Bonin.
