Lou Anna Singleton Green

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church honoring the life of Lou Anna Singleton Green, 71, who passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Anthony "Tony" Anala will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Dr. Terrica Singleton Scaife, Monte' Singleton, and Hailey Singleton. Gift bearers will be Paul Green, Jr. and Priscilla Green.

Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia.

Lou Anna made her final transition the morning of December 24, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born to the union of Weston and Myrtle Singleton on August 5, 1953. Lou Anna was known for her unwavering dedication, love, and support to her family. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother "Nana", aunt "Nanny", and friends. With such a beautiful soul who was supportive to anyone who needed.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Green, Sr.; mother, Myrtle Singleton; son, Lajouna Matthews (Stacy); grandchildren, Brock Williams (Kiontia), Enzi Matthews and, Andi Matthews; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Williams and Sophie Williams; step-children, Paul Green, Jr. (Priscilla) and Chantel Stiefel (Jeffrey); a host of step-grandchildren; siblings, Harold Singleton (Judy), Henry Singleton (Helen) and, Weston Singleton, Jr. (Lyia); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Weston Singleton, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Henry Singleton, Weston Singleton, Jr., Israel Singleton, Sherman Singleton, Jonathon Singleton, and Blake Singleton, Sr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Green, Jr., Harold Singleton, Sr., Gilbert Matthews, Sr., Jeffrey Stiefel, Harold Singleton, Jr., and Brock Williams.

Isaiah 41:10 don't you be afraid for I am with you don't be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness don't worry about me.

She said, "if something happens to me remember, you'll be fine. God is the one who has been taken care of you all these years. He's not going to stop just because I'm gone."
