Louella Broussard

Parks - A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 :00 am, on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Louella Patt Broussard, 63, who passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church from 7:00 am until 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Brad Guillory will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be her grandchildren. Louella was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading romance novels. She was a member of the LA-31 Playing Card Group and enjoyed playing cards with her friends and going to the casino. Louella loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also enjoyed the company of her dearest friend, Myrtle Thibodeaux. Her family wishes to give special thanks to her daughter, Helena, for taking extra special care of her. She is survived by her companion, Robert Colligan; two daughters, Helena Patt and Tamika Broussard; two sons, Robert (Andrea Carmon) Broussard, and Lionel (Schmecia Potier) Patt; four brothers, Ronald Patt Sr., Warren (Gertrude) Patt, Howard Patt, and Maclean Patt; four sisters, Leola (Joe) Riser, Mary Rossiyieon, Barbara Williams, and Rilma Patt; and 7 grandchildren, Camry Lively, Justin Broussard, Treylon Broussard, Jacoby Patt, Alyssia Broussard, Harley Broussard, and Robert Chase Broussard. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin and Helen Phillips Patt; two sisters, Gertrude Trahan and Shirley Mae Patt; and three brothers, Lionel, Michael, and Richard Patt. Pallbearers will be James Patt, Craig Patt, Walter Judge, Ronald Patt, Jr., Michael Judge, and MaCary Benjamin. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Broussard, Robert Broussard, and Lionel Patt.
