Louis 'Bob' Gautreaux

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Louis Bob Gautreaux, 83, who passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 9:30 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Reverend Gary Schexnayder will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Louis, better known as Bob, was born to the late Jacques and Agnes Benoit Gautreaux. He loved the outdoors, cutting his grass, gardening, outdoor grilling, and spending time with his grandchildren. Many memories were made going to Holly Beach every summer with the family. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sons, Kevin Gautreaux and wife Dana, Roland Robin, and Cecil Dupree and wife Ruth; his daughter, Jackie Landry and husband Gary; his grandchildren, Riley, Amanda, Julie, Rose "Nunee", Brian B., Kenny, Brian, David, Ashlyn, Kaelyn, Christopher, and Christina; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Gautreaux; second wife, Helen Gautreaux; sons, Donald and Kenneth Robin; parents, Jacques and Agnes Benoit Gautreaux; sisters, Ruby, Gercy, and Helen; a baby brother, Leroy; great grandchild, Ridge; and a special brother-in-law, Gaston Blanchard. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gautreaux, Roland Robin, Gary Landry, Kenny Robin, Jacob David, and Valek Seneca. Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Dupree, Donovan David, Bryce David, and Ashton Guilbeau.
