Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at St. John Francis Regis Church of Arnaudville for Louis Hardy, 80, who passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at his residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday.
Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Inurnment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville at a later date.
Louis honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany from 1962-1964. Louis was an avid outdoorsman; he loved gardening, fishing and woodworking. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Sandy. Louis also loved his camp in Butte LaRose. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Kimmie J. Hardy and wife, April; grandchildren, Ridge M. Hardy and Whitney E. Hardy and fiance', Kade; and only sister-in-law, Marella Hardy.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Landry Hardy; brothers, Murphy Hardy, Raymond Hardy, Wade Hardy and Harold Hardy; sisters, Agnes Castille and Alice Latiolais; and parents, Luke and Bunice Wiltz Hardy.

We are so grateful for the great care and compassion they all provided for Poppa and our family.
