Louis "T-Neg" Mamou

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Louis "T-Neg" Mamou, 72, who passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020, at his home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday. Interment will follow at a later date. Louis, better known as "T-Neg", was born to the late Louis and Olivia Derousselle Mamou. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a "Jack-of-all-trades", loved to joke around, fish, and have gatherings with family and friends. Louis never met a stranger and he graciously opened his door and his home to anyone who needed. He had a kind heart and enjoyed being around kids. Louis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him . He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Mamou; brothers, Lawrence Mamou, Larry Mamou and wife Billie, and Clancy Mamou and wife Brenda; sisters, Rose Mae Jolivet and husband Eugene, and Mary Ann Landry and husband Zachary; grandchildren, Desnieges Alexander, Lauren Journet, and Damion Morgan; and great grandchildren, Darion, Jarion, Damion, Jr., Cadence, and Demi. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Mamou; mother, Olivia Derousselle Mamou; and his daughter, Debra Tate.
