Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Louis Williams Stewart, 72, who passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday.
A Eulogy will be done at 8:45 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Saturday.
Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Alaxia Ballard and Chastity Quiett. Gift Bearers will be Russell Baltazar Jr. and Judy Baltazar.
Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Mr. Stewart enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting. During his free time, he liked doing mechanic work on race cars.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Baltazar Stewart of Baton Rouge; sons, Benjamin Stewart and wife Rose of Honolulu, HI, Carlos Stewart and wife Lori of Baton Rouge, Christopher Stewart and girlfriend Lisa of Baton Rouge, and Joshua Stewart of Baton Rouge; daughter, Felicia Ballard and husband Brian of Seattle, WA; sister, Maxine Stewart of Dallas, TX; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alberta Hart Stewart; and brothers, Jimmy Stewart and Huey P. Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Stewart, Carlos Stewart, Christopher Stewart, Joshua Stewart, Cedric Quiett, and Darrion McGuffey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Baltazar, Russell Baltazar Jr., Brian Ballard, Rocky Baltazar, Carlos "CJ" Stewart Jr., and Reginald Baltazar.
