New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel ?in New Iberia for Louis Joseph Thibodeaux, 77, who died Friday, February 2, 2007 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Iberia. Mr. Thibodeaux was the founder of Thibodeaux and Sons Scrap Yard. ?He also worked at Voorhies Supply until his retirement. ?He was an avid card player and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and customers. Survivors include his companion of 15 years, Frances Dugas of New Iberia; his sons, Wayne Thibodeaux, Sr. and his wife, Brenda, and Tim Thibodeaux and his wife, Belinda all of New Iberia; his daughters, Edith (Terry) Vice and her husband, Curlis (Boy) of New Iberia and Charlene Colley of Lafayette; his daughter-in-law, Wilda Thibodeaux of Delcambre; his brother, Charles Thibodeaux of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. ?He also leaves behind man's best friend, his dog, T-Boy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Edith Romero Thibodeaux; his wife, Eunice Thibodeaux; his son, Kenneth Thibodeaux, and his brothers, Arthur and Sidney Thibodeaux, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., ?from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday and continue at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia, 365-3331, is in charge of arrangements.
