New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM , Friday, November 11, 2011 , at Highland Baptist Church in New Iberia, for Louise Secrest Moore, 93, who passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in New Iberia . Rev. David Denton will officiate. Born on May 25, 1918 , Mrs. Moore worked at Voorhies Hardware for over 16 years. She enjoyed water color painting, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Ronny Moore and wife Starr of New Iberia, Gary Moore and wife Kristen of Houston; 5 grandchildren, Shalee Landry and husband Corry, Neely Moore, Matthew Moore and wife Lacie, Joshua Moore and wife Elise, Ashlea Taylor and husband Brad; 2 step grandchildren, Starr Michele Sanford and husband Michael, Clint McDowell and wife Stephanie; 10 great grandchildren and one due to arrive in January; and her former daughter-in-law, Helen V. Moore of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston A. Moore; parents, Clarence and Hazel Pearl Hawkins Secrest; step father, Horace Spear; and a step sister. Pallbearers will be Matthew Moore, Corry Landry, Brad Taylor, Joshua Moore, Tim Johnson, and Michael Sanford. Honorary pallbearers include Earl Hardy, Harvey Scott, and Steve Woodring. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia .
