Lydia - Loveless Joseph Myers, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on May 31st, 2023, at the age of 89, after suffering a heart attack at the Wheel-Inn, which was like his second home.

Born on November 29, 1933, on Weeks Island, Loveless was a fun-loving person who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. He worked for Morton Chemical for over three decades on Weeks Island before moving to Iberia Sewer District where he worked for another 20 years before retiring.
Aside from his work, Loveless was quite the character who had multiple hobbies and interests. He loved playing cards and bingo. Loveless also enjoyed playing the Washboard and spoons. Sundays were family day, where he would spend time visiting with his loved ones and then visiting with family and friends during weekday lunches. More so, Loveless had a particular love for seafood which he savored as often as possible. He had a soft spot for whiskey and coke too, which he often had at the Wheel-Inn, during times spent having fun with friends.
Loveless's personality shone through in everything he did; he was always full of love, fun and never met a stranger throughout his lifetime. His passing has left a gaping hole among those who knew him well but our memories of him will remain forever.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy Falgout; brother, Larry Myers (Bonnie); grandchildren, Craig Duval, Jr. (Krysten), Tyler Duval (Andrea), Jill Romero (Shaun) and Joy Guillory (Ryan); great grandchildren, Kylon Delcambre, Sophia Duval, Blaydon Duval, Kosta Duval, Cypress Duval, Walter “Brud” Theriot”, Skyla Blaylock, McKynli Guillot, Brooklyn Stansbury (Shane), Blaze Guillory, and Brodie Stelly; great great grandchildren, Basin Viator, Lakelee Viator, Gracelyn Knott, Jerrick Gomez, Ashton Theriot, Camlee Theriot, Bailey Theriot, and Dawson Theriot; sons-in-law, Paul Giroir and Craig Duval, Sr.; and Trudy Rush, his first cousin, who was more like a daughter that did everything for him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eugenie “Jenny” Hebert Myers; parents, Levy and Viola Broussard Myers; daughter, Bonnie Giroir; sister, Verla Mae Myers; and a son-in-law, Mark Falgout.

Rest in peace Loveless, may you forever remain in our hearts and memories.
