Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 5:30 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Lucien Richard Sr., 71, who died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at his residence in Arnaudville. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include his sons Lucien Richard Jr. and his wife Barbara of Leonville, Martin Dale Richard Sr. and his wife Belinda of Port Barre, John Davis Richard Sr. and his wife Monica of Maurice, Joseph Thomas Richard Sr. and his wife Resa of Arnaudville; his daughters Dee Anna Guidroz and her husband Robert Guidroz Sr. of Port Barre, Mary Ann Hardy and her ex-husband Russell Franks of Morrow, and Diane Richard of New Iberia; his brother Oscar Richard Sr. of Bunkie; twenty eight grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Alida C. Richard; his son David Richard, Sr.; his parents Samuel "Pete" Richard and Slyvania "Mom Pete" Richard; his brothers Jean Batiste "J.B." Richard, Leopaul Richard, Joe Richard and Jack Richard; his sisters Estelle Richard and Theresa Richard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 AM, Wednesday, July 27, 2005 until time of service. Pallbearers will be Lucien Richard Jr., Martin Dale Richard Sr., John Davis Richard Sr., Joseph Thomas Richard Sr., Lyn Franks and David Richard Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
