VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Lucille Gaspard, 67, who passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau. Born on February 28, 1942, Lucille was the daughter of Harrison and Julia Comeaux Segura. Her hobbies were playing cards and going to the casino. Survivors include her companion of 29 years, Wilton Paul Roy of New Iberia; her sons, Patrick Gaspard, of New Iberia, Herman Gaspard, Jr. and his wife Sarah, of Erath; her daughters, Peggy Eskind and her husband Mauldin, Bonnie Eskind and her husband Edward, both of New Iberia; her son in law, Thomas Milazzo, Sr.; her brothers, Lester, John Sr., Joseph, Dennis and Reynold Segura; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and her extended Roy family. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Gaspard, Sr.; her daughter, Cathy Milazzo; her sisters, Mable Moreau, May Duhon, Sophie Alleman and Sophille Segura; her brother, Ellis Segura and step son, J.D. Roy. Pallbearers will be Jason Roy, Jason Gaspard, Larry Darby, Jr., Wayne Bourque, Joseph Segura and Thomas Milazzo. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service .
