Lucille Babin Landry

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 19, 2006, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Lucille Babin Landry, 93, who died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Iberia General Medical Center in New Iberia. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Landry was a parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Russell Landry of St. Martinville, Calvin Landry of Breaux Bridge, and Al Landry of Cypress Island; two daughters, Mrs. James R. (Dolores) Romero of Loreauville and Mrs. Ward (Elaine) Breaux of St. Martinville; one brother, Anisette ""Ba Boo"" Babin of Cypress Island; one sister, Mrs. Walter (Lucette) Hulin of Cypress Island; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Landry; her parents, Adonis and Eulalie Delahoussaye Babin; three sisters, Lally Babin, Irene ""Nannie"" Hulin, and Jeanne Laviolette; and one brother, Larris ""Bolo"" Babin. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
