Lucille Marie Latiolais

Catahoula - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Lucille Latiolais, 82, who passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Iberia Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the Dion Hall 4452 Catahoula Hwy. (Hwy. 96), Catahoula, LA 70582, from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 2:15 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Lucille enjoyed cooking, baking, listening to music, praying the rosary, saying novenas for those in need, and loved her Church. She will be remembered for her generosity with the meals that she prepared, and her compassion and kindness that she gave to everyone. She is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Melancon and husband Stuart of St. Martinville, Annette Fuselier and husband August of St. Martinville, Rachel Castille and husband Jody of Catahoula, Jacqueline Angelle and husband Dwayne of Breaux Bridge, and Allison Latiolais of Catahoula; grandchildren, Matthew and Myles Melancon, Tara Theriot, Kaylee Romero, Brooke Richard, Roy Fuselier, Derek Latiolais and Dalan McGee; 9 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Laurent Theriot and wife Linda of Parks, Leroy Theriot of Parks, Ernest Theriot of Parks, and Merlin Theriot and wife Angelina of Parks; and her sisters, Rena Delcambre of New Iberia, Bernice Theriot of Parks, and Rebecca Angelle of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen "Beno" Latiolais; father, Louis Theriot; mother, Anna Menard Theriot; sister, Ruby Theriot; and brothers, Louis Jay Theriot, Sr. and Howard Theriot. Pallbearers will be Stuart Melancon, Matthew Melancon, Myles Melancon, Jody Castille, August Fuselier, and Roy Fuselier. Honorary pallbearer will be Dwayne Angelle.
