Lucille Johnson Mallery

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Lucille Johnson Mallery, 83, who passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Lucille Johnson Mallery was born on June 5, 1939, in Cypress Island. She worked as a cook at Notre Dame Catholic School for many years, prior to her retirement. Lucille loved her family greatly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Zerbin Mallery; daughter, Cheryl (Virgil) Harmon; grandchildren, Cherell and Alysha Harmon; great-grandchildren, Brielle Harmon, Timothy Glover, Alayah Walton, Avah Walton and Thomas Merriweather III; brothers, Robert Johnson and Calvin (Pamela) Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Wallace Wiltz.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Sedonia Wiltz Johnson; brothers, Albert Johnson and Clifton Wiltz; and her sisters, Helen Senegal, Merle Hall, Enola Wiltz, and Louella Lewis.
