Lucy Savoy Devillier

Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2005, for Lucy Savoy Devillier, 86, who died Monday, August 8, 2005 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Devillier loved to fish and garden. ?The most treasured gift she had was her self-sacrificing spirit to others. ?The family's fondest memory was Lucy's sewing ability. Survivors include her daughter, Doris Nicko of Breaux Bridge; her sister, Marie Thibodeaux of Parks; and her granddaughter, Donna Nicko. She was preceded in death by her husband, Goldman Devillier; her parents, Hypolite and Louise Savoy; her granddaughter, Angela Nicko; four brothers, Iphis, Palmer, Bernard and Marcel Savoy; four sisters, Alma LeBlanc, Lillian Gallo, Sister Germaine S.S. N.D., and Elizabeth Comeaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
