Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, April 7, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Lucy Guidry, 91, who passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery # 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Fr. Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral service. Survivors include three sons, Richard Harris Guidry and his wife, Charlene of Breaux Bridge, Raymond Guidry and his wife, Barbara of Augusta, GA and Patrick Guidry of Hessmer, LA; her four daughters, Sister Sophie Ann Guidry, MHS of Lafayette, Velma Degatur, Louella Blanchard and Dorothy Patin and her husband, Perry all of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Elda Champagne of Cecilia; her grandchildren, Myia Johnson, Bess Guidry, Daniel Guidry, Rachel Guidry, Patrick Shawn Guidry, Dr. Warren Degatur, Dona Richard, Byron Blanchard, Kevin Blanchard, Patrick Patin and Daniel Patin; her step grandchildren, April Benoit and Brad Indest; her great grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Benjamin Degatur, Charles Degatur, Emily Degatur, Kate Degatur, Kallie Degatur, Rocky Richard, Blakely Blanchard, Laural Blanchard, Avery Blanchard and Aaron Blanchard; and her step great grandchildren, Quinn Benoit, Carson Benoit, Austin Benoit, Andrew Indest, Sydney Childress and Adrienne Childress. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Webre and Devine Breaux Webre; her husband, Harris J. Guidry; her granddaughters, Baby Girl Guidry and April Theresa Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2008 and continue at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 6, 2008. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandchildren. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
