Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia, for Lucy Robin Landry, 82, who passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Opelousas General Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9 pm on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm. Deacon Ken Arnaud will officiate at the Funeral Service. A private interment will follow on Thursday, at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mrs. Landry was a devout Catholic who was passionate about praying the rosary. She loved company and being surrounded by her family and friends. Lucy was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to take care of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Jason Meche; two daughters, Debra Dugard and Cheryl Willis; her grandchildren, Joey Palmer, Robert Willis, Angie Luke, Megan Dugard, Kristen Ballback, Joshua Meche, Olivia Meche, and Jonathan Willis; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Angelas Landry; her parents, Mitchell and Bernadette Arnaud Robin; her daughter, Jeanie Meche; three sisters, Maire Elbie Robin, Renella LeGrand, and Marlene Wyatt; and her brother, Paul Robin, Sr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia, 2238 Bushville Hwy., Cecilia, LA 70521, (337-667-6464) is in charge of arrangements.
