Reverend Gary Schexnayder conducted a private graveside service on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 1:30 PM at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia for the family of Luke Thomas Simoneaud who passed away at Women and Childrens Medical Center in Lafayette on July 09, 2009. Survivors include his parents, Stuart and Christine Simoneaud of Youngsville; one brother, Stuart Michael Simoneaud, II; paternal grandparents, Wayne P. and Virginia Simoneaud of New Iberia; maternal grandparents, John C. Zimmer of Lafayette and Millie Resweber Zimmer of New Iberia; two great grandfathers, F.G. Mixon and V.P. Simoneaud; three uncles, Charles Zimmer, II and his wife Jenny, Wayne Paul Simoneaud II, and Elliot Thomas Simoneaud and his wife Brooke; four aunts, Laura Zimmer, Emily Simoneaud Pridgen and her husband, Jamie, Ginna Simoneaud Judice and her husband, Justin, and Katie Simoneaud; three cousins, Abby Zimmer, Jacob Zimmer, and Jon David Judice. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmothers, Elise Mixon and Hazel Simoneaud; maternal great grandmothers, Sue Minvielle Resweber, and Anna Marie Zimmer; and two paternal great grandfathers, Charles Zimmer, and A.J.
