Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, February 10, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Lula Mae ""Bin"" Trosclair Cormier, 73, who died Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Lula's life was one of helping bring beauty through her second career of operating a tropical plant nursery. ?Her primary career was in commercial printing sales. ?Her principal joy was her large extended community of family and friends. ?She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors include her husband, John Lloyd Cormier of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Adley Cormier and his wife, Melinda of Lake Charles and Gary J. Cormier of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Carolyn C. Hebert and her husband, Jimmy of Parks; and her sister, Genevieve T. Ozenne of St. Martinville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel Trosclair, Sr. and Vitallia Champagne Trosclair; her brothers, Lionel Trosclair, Jr. and Dennis Trosclair; and her sister, Vivian T. Miguez.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
Pallbearers will be Marty Theriot, Mercury Theriot, Morris Theriot, John Perez, Jr., Brian Perez, and Chad Perez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Ozenne, Tony Ozenne, John Allen Cormier, Phillip Dudley Cormier, and William LeBlanc.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
