Lula Peltier

Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, September 20, 2010 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Lula Mae Peltier, 87 who died Thursday, September 16, 2010 in Sulphur . Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery . Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant. Survivors include son, Jerry Peltier and wife Glenda of Sulphur; daughter, Mary Touchet and husband Sarris of New Iberia; brothers, Clarence Trahan of San Antonio, Rene Trahan of New Iberia; sisters, Amy Romero of Broussard, Thelma Romero of New Iberia; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ignace Peltier; second husband, Leon Gary, parents, Jean Delphie Trahan and Sevelie Romero Trahan; brother, Wilson Trahan; sister, Florence LeBlanc. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday.
