Lursie Lormand Guidry

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Lursie Lormand Guidry, 92, who passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lafayette. Fr. Paul Lafleur, Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will officiate at the services. Mrs. Guidry loved to cook and spend time in the store she would run. She will be remembered as "The lady who was always dressed and ready to go. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph D. and Feleciana Champagne Lormand; her sister, Alduse Lormand and her brothers, Dalton, Dewey and Gussy Lormand. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
