St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2006, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Lydia Narcisse Martin, 98, who died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at L.B.J. Hospital in Houston, TX. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Martin; and her parents, Paul and Elodie Narcisse. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
