Mable Miguez LeBlanc

New Iberia - Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Mable Miguez LeBlanc, 75, who passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville. Mrs. LeBlanc was born on August 28, 1939 to Laurent and Evelyn "Birday" Trosclair Miguez. Her hobbies included crocheting, crafts, sewing, ceramics, and going to the casino. She was close to her husband, S.O., and dearly loved his biscuits. Mrs. LeBlanc 's grandson, Joshua brought her great joy. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, S.O. LeBlanc of Jeanerette; daughters, Rachel L. Tenney of New Iberia, Charmaine T. White and husband Michael of Jeanerette; grandson, Joshua Tenney of New Iberia; special friend, Sherleen Aucoin and husband Carroll of New Iberia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mayonna Daigle. Pallbearers will be Michael White, Joshua Tenney, Craig Hebert, Wilson LeBlanc, Jason Foster, and David LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearer will be T-Paul Daigle. The family would like to give special thanks to the LTAC Unit at Iberia Medical Center, the sitters, family members, Dr. Jose Mata, Hazel, the entire staff of Iberia Manor North Nursing Home, and especially to her beloved husband and daughter, Charmaine, for their extraordinary care and compassion.
