Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Joseph Mack Falland Timothy Taylor, Jr., 65, who died on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Doctor's Hospital in Opelousas. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Father Keenan Brown will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Mildred Taylor. Gift bearers will be his children, Ted, Cottrell, Derrick, and Leticia. "T-Mac" as he was known to his family and friends was also referred to as the "Transmission Man". He enjoyed working on automobiles, traveling, fishing, hunting and attending family gatherings. "T-Mac" will long be remembered for his honesty, compassion, hard work and affordable transmission repairs. He was married to the love of his life, Lou Anna, for 37 beautiful years, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Lou Anna Noel Taylor, of Arnaudville; three sons, Ted Taylor (Nickey), Cottrell Taylor, and Derrick Taylor, all of Arnaudville; one daughter, Leticia Taylor Soularie (Richard), of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, Roderick Taylor (Bertina), Herman Taylor (Mildred), Russell Taylor (Gladys), all of Arnaudville, and George Robert Taylor, of Houston, TX; and six grandchildren, Tionee Soularie, Ameer Soularie, Ysys Soularie, On Soularie, Tanner Taylor, and Tyvon Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mack Falland Timothy Taylor, Sr. and Gertrude Cluse Taylor; two brothers, Stephen Taylor and wife, Theresa, and Harold Taylor and wife, Wanda; and a grandchild, Corei Taylor The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited by Raymond Dean at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be John Isaac, Roderick Taylor, Jr., Carlos Taylor, Craig Taylor, Johnthan Sam, and Donald Noel. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Taylor, Cottrell Taylor, Derrick Taylor, Richard Soularie, Roderick Taylor, Sr., Herman Taylor, George Taylor, Russell Taylor, and Patrick Taylor. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
